The Green School vortex is almost finished. Due to a wonderful donation from a local Green School supporter, the vortex has now been fully licensed and should be finished by the end of this summer!
The Governor of Bali has provided full approval for the generators installation and the ‘bringing to life’ of our own hydro-energy plant built together with the school on the Ayung River. A donation has been paid to the local village to give thanks for the chance to build this small scale power generator in the river.
All that is left to do is fix the dam, install a generator and watch it supply the projected 50,000KW! Our hopes are for more such vortexes to be installed in Bali to tackle the increasing overload on the electricity grid.
